Northwood Medical Plaza is an outpatient medical services center located in Cumming, Georgia. It was established in 1993 to provide quality outpatient care to the residents of Forsyth County and the surrounding communities.

Two general x-ray rooms are designated to be used for the examination of broken bones, kidney stones, pneumonia, etc. Fluoroscopy is available for a more thorough examination of the stomach or colon. Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment was recently upgraded to provide more detailed exams and to enhance patient comfort.Ultrasound is available for exams on liver/gallbladder, pancreas, kidney, aorta, as well as non-invasive vascular studies and prenatal evaluations. Mammography is preformed by technologists registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

All films are reviewed by an American College of Radiology (ACR) board-certified radiologist.Northwoods is proud to have board-certified physicians on site who represent a wide range of specialties. Laboratory and physical therapy services are also available at Northwoods.

Our modern facility also houses a diagnostic center known for its friendly competent staff and advanced diagnostic services.
