Stephen Bruno, MD

Dr. Bruno was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1983 and joined Roswell Radiology Associates in 1989.

In 1975, Dr. Bruno received his B.A. from Transylvania University, graduating second in his class, and his M.D. degree from University of Kentucky in 1979. After serving as Chief Resident at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1982, Dr. Bruno completed a year of intensified training in angiography and cross sectional imaging in 1983. He has presented scientific papers and exhibits at the RSNA and AACR national radiology meetings.

Following board certification, Dr. Bruno practiced for two years at Kentucky's premier cardiac care hospital, St. Joseph's. He then moved to Manhattan for a position as Assistant Professor of Radiology at St. Vincent's Medical Center, where over four years he played a key role in developing and expanding the radiology residency program there. During the past ten years, Dr. Bruno has practiced at North Fulton Regional Hospital, where he has held a continuous membership on the Emergency Room Committee and has previously served as Chairman of the Department of Radiology.
